R & R Was Good For the SOUL!!! Antiquing BONUS!

Oh, the weekend flew by, sadly!  BUT, it was WONDERFUL!  Stress free for the first time in MONTHS!!! I wish I could of stayed longer!

But, I was out of money! LOL!

Before I even met up with hubby... I stopped at A Simpler Time in Ripon, Wi!  Such a fun shop!  So many wonderful primitives accents for the home!! Judy the owner is a doll!  But, she won't let me take her picture...LOL... I understand, I hate having my picture taken too!

 I only snapped a couple of quick pictures because the hubby showed up to met up with me and take me back to the hotel....

 So, I took a picture of Hubby and his side kick Mike... They gave me their "best" side! LOL

So while we were out exploring we came across this wonderful old home in need of much love!  I LOVE THIS HOUSE!!!  It has a story, I just know it!  it's for sale... oh if I could hit the Lotto, I could give it the love it so deserves!

 YUP!  I am peeking in the window... no one lives there...

 The porch makes my heart skip a beat... oh the things I could do to dress it up!  Maybe it's time to move to Green Lake... Wish we could...BUT, life needs me here.....sigh.....

But...hubby humored me with some antiquing!  Bless his heart....

 He bought me THIS!!!  I am a lucky gal!  YIPPEE!  I love it! Spent the day playing with it, dressing it up, instead of doing things I should of been doing... like creating... So where to put it....thinking....

 This area in our kitchen is our old eating area... I seems to always be changing it up.... so I moved things around, AGAIN... Decide my little cabinet would look great there with some of my child size collection.

What do you think?  I love that it's painted red on the inside.  It has great old hardware too!
So my trip might of been short and sweet, but it was good! YEAH!

BIG Crafting Mess... Means... How About A GIVEAWAY!!!!!

Summer is flying by, isn't it?  YIKES!  It's almost August...

It's been a long couple of months here in the OLM homestead... Tomorrow will mark 4 months since my sister, AKA, the fruit loop passed away.. It has been a rough road...I am tired...sigh... I do try to keep my blog a happy place.  I still want that... So, I haven't been around much, honestly  OLM hasn't been a very  happy person, sadly.  NOW, I am tired of this... I need to work past my anger and such I have for her and the things she did.  I am getting there!!!  I am back to creating, it truly is good for the soul!  So that is all I am going to say about that.

 I really am a messy crafter!  I have so much started, I have to stop sewing and FINISH!  What I have started.... There is a kitchen table under that mess!

BUT.... I did finish this witch ... I created her from a Netty LaCroix pattern... Sarah the good witch... but I made her green...hehe... She is ready for the haunting season with a OLM OOAK misfit pumpkin for a necklace....
She would be a perfect door greeter for the season...

Oh MY!!  July 1st!!!  The summer is speeding by... 

I am onto creating pumpkins...just doesn't seem right..

We were off to such a cool start...lots of rain... my flowers are slow to get going....

BUT.... I noticed a few firsts and thought I would share....

 New baby Robin... I am thinking his first day out of his nest...Trying to get his "sea" legs... or hiding in my flowers yesterday...

 What a good boy or girl... I was able to take several pictures.....

 Then summer flowers just starting to open... Some a wee bit blurry... sorry...

 Little Americana added to the garden for the summer....

 Knuckles says HI!  He likes to be outside while I water so he can drink from the hose!

So, I see everyone is jumping to bloglovin...Please tell me what it is and why we are doing this???  Oh I hate change... Is this part of blogspot? or a whole new blog?  I have been working the family stuff, that if this has come up, I have missed it... but do we need to do this? Is it better? HELP!
