Merriment Day 20... It's Coming Fast....

So let the wrapping begin... I have noticed in the last couple of years... I don't have as much to wrap anymore... No toys under the tree for the boys... Just a couple of bigger gifts now... sigh... Even still wrapping has been started... nothing to fancy.  I use to really fancy things up, but since hurting my back, wrapping isn't as easy... So this year I thought I would use homespun fabric for the ribbon.  Just simple bows..  After all the niece's and nephew's won't even notice, just ripping in... and after all that is what it's all about? hugs! Hi Marie, your wrapping is beautiful!
There isn't much under the tree for my hubby and kids, but now my grandbabies are getting the royal treatment. It is fun buying toys again. he he hugs, Lecia

Love the wrapping! I am finished, except for 2 presents, and just a few to wrap. I am so glad I have found your blog again.

Hi Marie, your wrapping is so nice! I love seeing wrapped presents under trees. I even wrapped some empty boxes and put them under my tree because I don't have any that I bought! LOL Shhhhh don't tell, it is a secret!
Be blessed,
Cindi

Hi Marie,
There is that in between time from older children who get larger gifts and then you move on to the grandchildren...this time in between goes quite fat so it really won't be long before you will be filling it up again.
I have blue paper like yours.

Great wrapping....I used to take such pride in wrapping each gift perfectly - with special bows, ribbons and tags....and then, yeah....life smacked me in the face. Now, I'd be happy if I even had a gift to wrap....(Somebody HEEEELLLLP!!!) Smiles & Panicked Hugs ~ Robin

Sigh..used to take me DAYS to wrap everything for the boys...but as the boys got bigger, the gifts got bigger and fewer. I need my boys to get serious about grandkids for me! And I want PINK ones!!!---Jan

Lovely wrappings! The Homespun is a perfect touch. I set out to do clever crafty wrappings..BUT only made it through half way with my spirited spunk...I'm so behind on everything..Still hoping to meet the 20th of Dec. date to ship priority with Prim friends -so the home stuff is going to my daughters -they are wrapping for me...& the wrap is comical ....Justin Bieber paper for the grown men and Ted the bear paper for the gals ;0)

The fabric bows put a personal touch to it all. We need to start wrapping.....and soon.... or we will be left with it all on Christmas Eve like last year. -Steph-

Oh Boy ~ I haven't even started wrapping ~ not my favorite thing to do.
I like the idea of homespun for bows ~ maybe my cat won't chew on them and puke all over the place!
