Merriment day --16... More Vintage

I don't think I showed this... Might of been the full view on top of my pie safe... Tucked in a old wire basket... is another scene with some of my vintage boxes... and OF COURSE a few more elf's....

Simple...next year I think I am going to go even more simple...there is nothing simple about my Christmas decorating...sigh... I just don't know what I would give up and leave hidden in the tubs...sigh... Off an running I will visit everyone later... Trying to get many things done before hubby's surgery on Friday.  I will be glad when it's over and he's on the mend.. It's been hanging over our heads for a while now... He's OK, just one of those things that has to be fixed and will lay him up for a wee bit! OLM

It's hard to leave stuff behind in the tubs. I think they feel so sad:( Hopefully you can get the things done you that you need to so you can play "nurse" this weekend. Good luck. -Steph-

Sweet display Missy Marie. I so hear ya Sista.....I look at displays like our talented hostesses put up with simple greens, fruits and pewter, and drool all over myself...But, me, I just can't give up the vintage and whimsy to achieve it. Funny - I have an old box of Christmas snow and a couple of old boxes of ornaments too. But I DON'T have any creepy ol' elves or Santas (yet)....(I almost was afraid to open the light box thinking there might be one lurking inside and HE was the reason the box was stuck in my mailbox!! :o) Smiles & Merry Hugs ~ Robin

I will not be showing Tim...might be making a trip to another antique mall to look again. Hehe!! On the other hand, maybe I should show him. I don't mind the antique malls one bit.

Hoping for a quick recovery for your hubby..I know how they like to "milk" the situation.
