In keeping my my theme "what Makes Your Heart Skip A Beat"...Today's pictures is of my Moon flowers opening up!

These Flowers have traveled from my childhood home to the current home my dad lives in...to the first home hubby and I had, to here.... They have made the rounds... Each flower only opens up at dusk, for only one night. Then the flower dies off and a seed pod forms full of seeds for the next year... One of my favorite flowers! They are starting to bloom and since so many of my other flowers are not doing so well this year... This is a treat! Even in this heat they are opening and growing!!!!

Enjoy! Have a great night!!! So what makes your heart skip a beat? Tell me and leave a comment on the giveaway post and chance to win a OLM original something! HEHEHEHE! Stay cool! OLM

Finding an enexpected treasure at the thrift store makes my heart skip a beat! Especially if it's something rather valuable for sale at a fraction of it's regular cost! It seems so weird to me to be seeing lots of Halloween stuff in blogland - I'm still in summer mode (mentally & physically!)

Silly as it may sound, I actually enjoy some mystery, a little teasing.

Naughty...that's what you are. I want one of each. OK?? Love your moon flowers...but MAN are they invasive!! Planted them here once and it took years to rid me of them from taking over the place...Now I'm working on the beloved, but dreaded, lamb's ear from about 5 years' back. Enough of a good thing already! Smiles & Hugs (but you're still naughty...) ~ Robin

Oh, what makes my heart skip a beat is pictures of my son in his uniform. Oh this is one proud Army MOM!!!! It is so sweet how God gives us little blessing when we aren't looking. My real father was killed in a tragic accident when I was 18 months old!! My son, Eric, looks so much like my father! I have a picture of my Dad in his uniform and I printed one of Eric's pictures in black and white!! Oh my goodness, they look almost like twins. Now I know why my MaMa(My Daddy's sweet Moma) cried everytime we brought Eric to visit her, she was seeing me Daddy.
Hugs to you my friend and thanks for the teasing of a wonderful give away.
